Kevin has given masterclasses at CSU Monterey Bay and the Dennis Murphy School of Music (with The Latin Jazz Collective w/ John Nava) on Afro-Cuban/Latin jazz, arranging, composing, and improvising and piano clinics through Casio at Wise Music (Salinas, CA) and The Magic Flute (San Rafael, CA).
 
He has also taught at various jazz camps in the Bay Area (most recently the San Jose Jazz Summer Camp and North Monterey County Jazz Camp (which also had all of Beyonce's original band as teachers)) in 2019 and 2022, been a clinician for various bands wishing to tighten their sound, and has coached rhythm sections at various high schools and middle schools. 

Huge congrats to Emily P. - Kevin's songwriting/piano/theory student for the last 2 years who just made it into Berklee School of Music for songwriting in Fall '23! 

Kevin was one of the teachers for the Shoretel Battle of the Bands Project for 3 years (where he taught their employees how to play keyboards and coached them on playing in a band together to promote team-building and collaboration).

He taught jazz vocals for the Alum Rock School District Jazz Program in 2016-17 and has been teaching music for the Oak Grove School District from 2017 - present.
